Today, contactless payment for journeys is becoming an increasingly popular form of payment. Thanks to it, passengers using various means of transport avoid queuing at the ticket offices to buy a ticket.
PIXEL, by offering a toll collection system, went a step further and introduced in its mobile ticket machines an intelligent system of billing for journeys, consisting, among others, of on the use of a dynamic tariff calculator. The solution offered by PIXEL is aimed at discharging passenger flows that often arise when buying tickets, as well as encouraging passengers to use public transport as often as possible, by automatically calculating the most advantageous fare after adding up all journeys during the billing day, and then automatically collecting payment from a payment card.

Smart Tariff PixBee also offers access to the passenger portal panel, in which the traveler receives a lot of data about his trip, incl. can check the history of journeys. The reduction of overheads of travel for passengers and the increase in their satisfaction obviously encourages traveling by public transport with the implemented PIXEL payment system.
The city that decided on the solution offered by PIXEL is Białystok. The Smart Tariff BKM introduced in public transport is the first implementation of this type in Poland.
