Sławomir Jankowski is the businessman of 2022!
We are very pleased to announce that President Sławomir Jankowski took 2nd place and the title of "Businessman of the Year 2022" in the category of Medium Enterprises, in a competition organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Sławomir Jankowski is a co-founder of PIXEL Sp. z o. o. (1994) and PIXMET Sp. z o. o. (2012), currently the president of both entities, where he runs them together with Michał Cyrankowski. President Jankowski is the Chairman of the Council of the Chamber in the Polish Chamber of Manufacturers of Equipment and Services for Railways, he is a member of the University Council of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology, the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Regional Council of Future Industry and the Bydgoszcz Volleyball Association. Personal and professional life has been connected with Bydgoszcz and its surroundings from the beginning.

The main areas of PIXEL's activity are solutions for public transport, in line with the idea of the Smart City. PIXMET, on the other hand, provides services in the field of metalworking, having a machine park adapted to low and medium-series production.
Physical and intellectual resources play an important role in the development of the Companies. PIXEL's organizational structure is extensive, as evidenced by the number of departments, and power is decentralized, which is beneficial for the dynamic development of the company. Innovative works are carried out by a large Development Department (25% of the company's employees), and their effects and first implementations have brought the Company a number of awards.
PIXEL's R&D works focus on the implementation of further market technological novelties to the systems offered by the Company, building a qualitative advantage and competitiveness of products.
Systems for public transport, created by electronic devices and dedicated software, collect data, then interpret them, leading to specific events. Thanks to this, it is possible to prevent potentially dangerous situations (automatic image analysis in the recorder Pixel Video Recorder), we are talking about an increase in the competitiveness of using public transport (toll collection system Smart Tariff PixBee selects the most advantageous fare for the passenger's journeys during the last billing day).
For the last two years, we have been working on the implementation of the e-paper technology in stop signs presenting timetable and dynamic passenger information. The first city in Poland that tested the system was Opole, and the first order for ECO-SDIP submitted by the city of Bialystok.
PIXEL is also the assembly of electronics on request under the internal brand 3P-EMS and an increase in interest in electromobility and communication with autonomous vehicles.
