CeSIP

CeSIP (Central Passenger Information System) is a system designed for vehicle fleet supervision and comprehensive real-time passenger information management. The wide range of functionalities offered enables the optimal use of the fleet, global management of passenger information and communication with vehicle drivers.

CeSIP has been designed in a modular manner, enabling functional expansion by adding additional modules during the operation of the system, with the possibility of their integration into one central system. This solution allows you to manage several subsystems, ensuring comfortable and effective use of the collected data.

Management of lines, stops, the database of inter-stop sections.

A module for the management and configuration of routes, lines, stops and for giving them the features needed to collect and then interpret data. Possibility to freely group stops and assign messages as well as manage tariff zones, taking into account different zones for sections of the route line.

Vehicle and carrier database management and communicator module.

The functionality of this module includes assigning: side number to the vehicle, vehicle description, used features (short, long, low floor, standard / above standard), operator's name, production date and others determined at the system implementation stage).
The communicator module allows you to send messages to all or selected vehicles, send messages to the driver's terminal and publish information displayed on the internal board.

Event log and panic button.

By pressing the button of the assigned anti-hijack function on the driver terminal (the so-called panic button), the map screen will appear with the current GPS position of the vehicle in which the press has been pressed and an audible notification. In response to the notification, the dispatcher can perform the following actions: voice call, sending a text message and generating an event report.

Dispatcher functions

The dispatcher assigns the correct side number of the vehicle to the planned tasks (e.g. line number, brigade number, vehicle type and others). The module makes it possible to make changes in real time (e.g. to change stops) on the course route. The dispatcher functions also include the dispatcher's work log on the basis of actions taken by him and
generating reports for selected operators on a given day.

Map and detours module

Real-time preview of vehicles on the map as well as archival preview in the time range specified by the dispatcher. Presentation of data on a map about the vehicle (route of the course, time deviation from the timetable, vehicle speed).
The ability to filter vehicles by various variables (timetable deviation, line, brigade, location on the map).
The detour module allows you to create fast, temporary detours.

Bead module

A linear plot of the route of vehicles logged on a given line. The graph also shows such data as: vehicle side number, current delays, brigade.
The bead module enables visual presentation of the scale of vehicle deviations by automatically grouping vehicle accelerations / decelerations similar in time to the theoretical distribution. For the acceleration and deceleration ranges, colors have been assigned that dynamically represent the scale of deviations.

Virtual monitor

Selection of any stop and preview of the departure forecast along with the simultaneous presentation of vehicles approaching the selected stop on the map. Information on the deviation from the theoretical timetable, including the side number of the vehicle, theoretical departure time.

Arrays module

Management of boards by: the possibility of configuring and grouping boards, sending text and graphic messages with the definition of the display field, preview of the displayed content, adding additional sound announcements along with the schedule and frequency of broadcasts. The software allows you to remotely turn on, turn off and reset the boards.

Priority module

The module is responsible for generating data on check-in points at intersections, receiving data from vehicles, forecasting the arrival of vehicles at intersections, sending telegrams to the Traffic Management Subsystem, based on which the Traffic Management Subsystem makes decisions about prioritizing public transport vehicles.

User management

The access levels and write rights to individual data, modules and functionalities of the central system can be freely set for various user groups, including the Dispatchers group, as well as the one with full scope (Administrators group).

Prediction, control and analysis of punctuality

Algorithm forecasting the arrival of public transport vehicles, which takes into account the delay in the courses preceding the departure. Forecasting the arrival of buses takes place at the central level, i.e. GPS positions sent from vehicles are used to measure the travel time of given communication routes. Thanks to this, the system makes the displayed results real.
Punctuality control and analysis (also in graphic form) make it possible to settle the carrier.

Analytics and diagnostics

The system provides ongoing control of the condition of devices and informs about problems, failures and faults. Automatic detection and reporting (in the form of messages, e-mails) of long-term absences of peripheral devices.

Reporting

The CeSIP system was built in such a way that, based on the connection of all timetable data and real information from the vehicle, it would be possible to construct reports according to the needs and expectations of the Ordering Party.
